Hello, my name is Marcus and I'm a software engineer. I started a company, and created a web-based marketing application for restaurants, to help them advertise their menus to local customers. In search of a new skill, I became a software engineer. I studied "Eloquent JavaScript: A Modern Introduction to Programming", which taught me the fundamentals of programming through JavaScript. I completed the Software Engineering Career Track with SpringBoard, a coding boot-camp. Skills I learned include front-end web development, back-end web development, databases, and data structures and algorithms. I also completed the Apple Developer Academy, where I learned to design and develop iOS applications. I've done freelance web development for various clients, including e-commerce websites for farms in my community and a start-up company selling skincare products. I specialize in creating modern, dynamic, and data-driven websites and applications. I am currently interested in opportunities with web/app-based technology companies, as a full stack software engineer or iOS developer.
